Baracha, the illegitimate daughter of Hinde Turk, was born in Kamienica Dolna, Pilzno district, in the year 1899, that is, in the one-thousand-eight-hundred-and-ninety-ninth year. Paternity of this child was acknowledged by Moses Kranz, who entered into a lawful marriage with the child's mother in the year 1902 in Jaslo, recorded in the marriage register of the Israelite metrical district in Jaslo for the year 1902, Volume III, page 170/1, entry no. 26; therefore, the child was legitimated by the subsequent marriage of the parents and is legally entitled to bear the father's family name "Kranz." The entry was made pursuant to a rescript of the county Office in Krakow dated 29 December 1931, reference SPD VI 1123/31, in Pilzno on 28 January 1932.
